Graphite Design International Posts Its First Win of 2011 With a Victory at The Sony Open

SAN DIEGO, CA – January 18, 2011 – Graphite Design, maker of some of the most widely played premium golf shafts on the PGA TOUR, announced today that the winner of the Honolulu Sony Open played Graphite Design YS+ Hybrid 85 shafts.

The winner carded a final-round 16-under 264, playing the final 40 holes without a bogey. His two-shot victory guarantees him a spot at the Masters, where he will compete for the coveted green jacket for the first time.

During the 2010 season, Graphite Design had 32 victories on U.S. Tours with over a dozen different shaft styles.
