LAKE MARY, FL – The International Network of Golf recently welcomed four members to the ING Advisory Board, as voted upon by ING members.
ING is a media-based, non-profit association that since 1990 has been networking the golf industry. ING’s stated mission is to enhance and promote communication and education in the golf industry. But the group’s vision and energies are aimed well above those already lofty objectives.
ING conducts several events each year, the biggest of which is the ING Spring Conference, which celebrates its 21st Anniversary May 22-26, 2011 at Innisbrook Resort. Anyone involved in the golf industry or media is invited to attend.
ING brings people together and encourages them to learn about – and conduct business with – each other.
The four people selected for three-year terms are:
* Todd Lewis, Broadcaster, The Golf Channel
* Andy Mears, Marketing Manager, Swan Lake Resort
* Pam Swensen, CEO, Executive Women’s Golf Association
* Greg Wires, Publisher, Golf Minnesota
These members join current ING Advisory Board members: Steve Asman, President, Gustbuster/Sunbuster; Patricia Dahan, Senior Director Global Apparel, adidas Golf; Ron Garl, President, Ron Garl Golf Course Design; Holly Geoghegan, President, Golf Marketing Services; Mike Kern, Golf Writer, Philadelphia Daily News; Cody Law, Administrator, Golf Mesquite Nevada.
Members of the ING Advisory Board serve as a voice for the ING membership, and offer advice to the ING management company, Jamison Golf Group, and to the ING Executive Committee, which oversees operations.
The Executive Committee, which is elected by the ING Advisory Board, consists of:
