Company will be at Booth 1401 and at Outdoor Demo Day
Chattanooga, Tenn. (Jan. 20, 2011) – After a successful and eventful 2010, Scratch Golf Clubs has announced that it will be exhibiting at booth 1401 at the 2011 PGA Merchandise Show from Jan. 27-29 in Orlando. Scratch also will participate in the Outdoor Demo Day at the Orange County National Golf Center on Jan. 26 in partnership with shaft distributer PGMC and its revolutionary KB Golf Shafts.
“The PGA Show continues to serve as an annual springboard for our brand,” said Ari Techner, president and CEO of Scratch Golf. “As our company has continued to grow, we depend on the show to get our products in front of dealers and media that otherwise may never see our clubs. We also use the show as an opportunity to unveil our new products each year.”
Scratch kicked off 2011 by signing former British Open Champion and No. 1-ranked player in the world David Duval. Duval will use the company’s clubs and have its logo on his bag and hat. Duval is the second former world No. 1 to play Scratch products. Cristie Kerr, who ascended to the top ranking in the women’s game in 2010, has been playing Scratch wedges since 2009.
Scratch finished the year with clubs in play on every major professional tour worldwide, including the PGA, Champions, Nationwide, LPGA, Futures, Hooters, eGolf, Gateway, European PGA, European Challenge and European LPGA Tours.
Scratch will display its full retail wedge and iron line as well as many custom clubs at their booth. Among its notable clubs is the Scratch 8620 wedge, which was recently a recipient of a Gold Medal from Golf Digest’s annual Hot List rankings for the second year in a row. Scratch executives and sales team, as well as Scratch’s master craftsmen Jeff McCoy and Don White, will be available all three days of the exhibition.
