The first seminar on How To Set Up and Operate A Club Repair Shop featured how to successfully set up a working repair shop with the necessary equipment to perform club repair services on today’s modern golf clubs with business strategies to ensure a return on investment. Bill Kumle, Director of Instruction for Mitchell Golf Equipment Institute presented this seminar. He is a 38-year member of the PGA and is recognized as an authority on modern club repair.
The second seminar on Measuring and Bending Golf Club Angles explained the industry standards for correctly measuring loft, lie & face angles of irons, metal woods and hybrids with proper bending techniques. This seminar drew a large attendance of PGA Golf Professionals, retailers, club makers and international guests. Ed Mitchell, Chairman of Mitchell Golf presented this seminar. Ed is a 43-year member of the PGA and is recognized as an industry expert on golf club performance alterations.
The third seminar on How To Teach With Club Performance and D-Plane Technology featured the 14 Club Performance Numbers and the D-Plane ball flight laws that were presented by Ed Mitchell and James Leitz, PGA Head Professional Pinewood CC, Slidell, LA at the Teaching & Coaching Summit at Faldo Golf Institute. A large attendance of PGA Golf Professionals learned the importance golf equipment plays in creating the proper impact and what truly effects ball flight. They were introduced to the principle that golf instruction plus club performance equals game improvement.
