Howey-in-the Hills, Fla. – The Mexican Golf Federation and the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy have reached an agreement for GGGA and golf fitness training partner Body Balance for Performance to be the exclusive training academy for the Mexican Junior National team.
The team will train with GGGA staff once a month. Training begins at the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy facility in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., this week, followed by two sessions in Mexico and will continue under that cycle each month until December.
Golf-specific fitness training directed by golf fitness experts Body Balance for Performance will take place daily during visits as well as mental training with GGGA staff with pre and post tournament analysis.
The Mexican Golf Federation began in 1976 with the mission of promoting golf in the Mexican Republic and developing and organizing events to help spread the sport.
Based at the Mission Inn Resort & Club 40 minutes outside of Orlando, the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy is the leading full-time junior golf academy in the world.
The Gilchrist Academy is committed to excellence in every facet of golf, fitness, personal development and academics, evident through exclusive relationships with Montverde Academy, an acclaimed private college preparatory school, golf fitness experts Body Balance for Performance and the American Junior Golf Association.
As part of our AJGA relationship, the academy is the official title sponsor of the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy Junior All-Star Series, an AJGA tournament series reserved for the world’s top 12-15 year-old golfers.
