PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (February 8, 2011) – The new Sassy Malassy putter line, which is made entirely in America, has been selected as Product of the Month for February by the GolfTalk Live radio show. The putter line was invented by avid Philadelphia-area golfer Greg Schmitt. It is CNC milled from stainless steel under his personal inspection at Digital Machine, which has been machining precision components for 28 years and is located in Warrington, Pennsylvania.
The Sassy Malassy putters made their debut at the recent PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando and received rave reviews. The Sassy Malassy booth was one of constant activity throughout the show and even surprised creator Greg Schmidt with the reception.
“We’ve had hundreds and hundreds of people try this putter and they’re falling in love with it,” said Schmidt. “Everything on this putter is made in the U.S.A. The putter is a little heavier than the standard putter. The heel-shafted model weighs 396 grams and the center-shafted weighs 384 grams, which is the perfect weight to allow your putting stroke to continue through to the target.”
“I personally saw the reaction to the Sassy Malassy putter at the PGA Show and was very impressed,” reported GolfTalk Live host Tony Leodora. “People put the putter in their hands and did not want to let go of it. For a product making its debut, the reception was very good.”
Information on the Sassy Malassy putting line is being displayed on the home page of the www.golftalklive.net website for the entire month of February. More information, plus the ability to purchase the putters, can be found at www.sassymalasscom.
