‘The hottest shafts in golf’ dominates wood; hybrid shaft counts for 5th consecutive week
POWAY, Calif. – With the help of Aldila shafts, the winner of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am captured his first PGA Tour victory with a two-stroke victory.
Finishing with a 271 (63-70-71-67) he earned a whopping $1.134 million and earned his first trip to the Masters.
Aldila laid waste to the wood and hybrid shaft competition at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am to sustain its status as the #1 shaft on Tour. “The Hottest Shafts In Golf” won the wood shaft manufacturer count with 41 more wood shafts and more than double the amount of hybrid shafts in play than the next leading competitor, according to the Darrell Survey.
This marks the 5th consecutive week that Aldila has obliterated the wood shaft count with at least 20 more wood shafts in play and nearly twice as many hybrid shafts in play than their closest competitor.
The secret to Aldila’s success on the PGA Tour is the performance of their highly sought after shafts.
“Aldila has developed three patented shaft design technologies that continually prove themselves week after week on the PGA Tour,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “The three technologies, Micro Laminate (MLT), Stabilized Core (S-core) and Reverse Interlaminar Placement (RIP) each offer players of all abilities optimum performance to maximize the potential of their individual swing.”
MLT is designed using ultra thin layers of premium aerospace graphite that are matched with a proprietary thin profile shaft design that eliminate ‘dead zones’ in the shaft for precise feel. S-core Technology™ provides the golfer with stability through an innovative design incorporating a one-piece carbon fiber rib system. This helps the shaft stay more concentric during the golf swing thereby transferring maximum energy. RIP Technology™ transforms the shaft from the inside out providing players with shot control. RIP shafts offer golfers lower torque, increased tip stability and better tip stiffness control.
Aldila is continually on the leading edge of the golf world through their relentless pursuit of the next best innovation. They do the experimenting so you don’t have to. Pushing success to the edge and redefining how power should feel. Are you playing Aldila, or just graphite?
