Kevin Donnellon, a social media and marketing public relations expert in golf, will be leading a series of social media classes at The First Tee’s upcoming Network Meeting in San Antonio February 17-19.
Donnellon has 30 years of experience in marketing public relations and an established practice in social media. He is the President of Macali Communications. The First Tee Network Meeting brings together The First Tee’s chapter executive directors, program directors, volunteer board members and others associated with the organization every other year.
“Social media has become the most powerful communication strategy to help develop an organization’s goals at various levels,” says Donnellon. “I’m eager to share social media ideas, insights and best practices with those involved in The First Tee at its Network Meeting in San Antonio.”
“We are grateful to the many experts coming together for this year’s Network Meeting, including Kevin,” said Jennifer Weiler, vice president of The First Tee. “Social media is an important marketing and communications strategy that all chapters of The First Tee need to learn to use, and Kevin will provide great guidance in how we can fully leverage the power of this tool.”
