CertiFresh Cigar was named to PGA Magazine’s “What’s Selling Resorts” in the new February issue. The What’s Selling section of the magazine lists the best selling items in each category (Resorts, Public, Private and Off Course) as reported by PGA’s Magazine’s Merchandisers of the Year and AGM members.

CertiFresh has experienced a meteoric rise in the golf industry since entering the market in 2009; climbing from less than 50 golf accounts to over 850 today.
The company also had its best showing at the annual PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando Florida last month.
“We opened at least 63 new accounts at the show and still have more coming in every day”, explains VP of Sales Geoff M. Stiles.
Those new accounts include Golf Digest Top 100 courses like The Honors Course in TN, Victoria National in IN, TPC Piper Glen in NC, Interlachen CC in MN and Erin Hills GC in WI.
“It was really fun having existing customers come to the booth and tell us how much they love the program and how much their cigar sales have increased since throwing away their humidor”, says Stiles. “We even had customers walking their friends from other courses to the booth and telling them they must open an account. I’ve never had that happen in 21 years of coming to this show with several companies.”
CertiFresh has also added more salespeople to its stable of professional representatives. Shauna McCafferty will cover CO, UT and WY. Roger Wilde now manages VA for CertiFresh. “We now have 33 professional salespeople covering all 50 states,” said Porter “and we are the only cigar purveyor to have reps personally servicing golf properties in all 50 states.”
CertiFresh is now offering a four-pack of cigars in their patented “guaranteed fresh” packaging. Unlike their single use, one-pack cigars, the Foursome includes a free cigar cutter and is re-sealable. It will keep cigars fresh for six months once opened.
