PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (March 1) – The first TourPlayers.com Ping-Pong Championship will be played Friday, March 4, at the Tequesta (Fla.) home of Steve Marino, and carried live on TourPlayers.com in a joint venture with Vumanity Media Inc.
The ping-pong tournament, played after the second round of the Honda Classic, will be carried by TourPlayers.com, a new website featuring PGA Tour Professionals, in association with Vumanity Media Inc. (www.vumanity.com), a cutting-edge technology that produces quality video content more quickly and efficiently than before. Marino is one of the tour players who are co-owners of TourPlayers.com (www.tourplayers.com). The show will air live on TourPlayers.com from from 8 PM until 10 PM.
Former Golf Channel broadcaster Mike Ritz will call the tournament, and noted broadcaster Bob Bubka will do the color.
