Players using SuperStroke putter grips ranked #1 in putting and finished 2nd and T6th at The Honda Classic on the PGA Tour Sunday.
2nd Place/#4 in Putting – The 2nd place finisher, a former major winner, used a SuperStroke Slim grip en route to his third Top 10 finish in five PGA Tour starts in 2011. He ranked 4th in Putts Per GIR and 5th in Putts Per Round this week with the oversized grip designed to take the wrists out of the putting stroke and relieve tension in the hands. The player became Asia’s first major men’s golf champion by winning the 2009 PGA Championship, and he also won on the OneAsia Tour with a SuperStroke Slim grip at the 2010 Korea Open. With his Top 5 finish at the Accenture Match Play Championship and 2nd place finish this week, the player moved to 13th in the current FedEx Cup point standings and has already earned over $1 million in 2011.
T6th Place/#1 in Putting – SuperStroke Tour Professional Matt Bettencourt finished T6th at The Honda Classic and ranked 1st in Putts Per GIR with his SuperStroke Fatso putter grip.
