LAKE MARY, FL – Michelle Phillips has entertained and inspired millions of people through various television and radio appearances and speaking engagements across the United States.
Now, attendees at the 21st Annual ING Spring Conference this May will have the opportunity to see why her popularity as a motivational speaker continues to skyrocket. Phillips will deliver the keynote speech at the ING Spring Conference, scheduled for May 22-26 at Innisbrook Resort on the west coast of Florida.
The ING Spring Conference is open to anyone in the golf industry or media, and approximately 175 people are expected to attend. The conference is conducted by the non-profit International Network Of Golf. For more information or to register, visit www.inggolf.com.
Phillips’ mission in all of her ventures is empowering people to rise above their challenges and live their dreams. And she speaks from experience.
Phillip’s dream was a humble one – to work behind the scenes as a celebrity stylist and makeup artist. She quickly accomplished that goal, working with several major networks and personalities such as Katie Couric, General Norman Schwarzkopf, Dan Rather, Connie Chung and Jeff Foxworthy.
Along the way Michelle was asked to be the beauty correspondent for the CBS station in Tampa. Her comfort in front of the camera and innate ability to connect with viewers eventually led to her being named host of the station’s new morning talk show “Studio 10.” Since then, Michelle has appeared on shows across the country, and currently she can be seen weekly on two national shows, “The Daily Buzz” and “Daytime.”
Her speaking career has recently started to blossom. In April she will join Sigourney Weaver, Joy Behar and others in Canada to lead a series of empowerment programs for women.
The roots of her speaking career also began with the TV industry. She created a series of TV segments called, “Courage & Grace©.” These vignettes featured the heartrending stories of people who have overcome seemingly insurmountable odds in their own lives and gone on to help others. It was this work that inspired Michelle to share her experiences, with the hope of creating a foundation of strength and support for anyone who hears them. Her programs are designed with a guiding purpose: To bring out the best in her listeners by providing tools for self-improvement that lead to a beautiful life.
Phillips’ presentation is set for Monday morning at the ING Spring Conference. She will be followed by a revised educational format, featuring ActionCOACH as the workshop facilitator. Attendees will choose between business skills or life skills workshops.
There will be plenty of networking opportunities and golf events. Companies have a chance to take a display table in the One-On-One Appointment Show, which provides attendees a platform for private meetings to encourage business relationships. For companies with equipment or training products there is the Demo Lab, which takes place on the range and putting green.
The new Golf Media Expo will be part of a revamped Sunday Night at the ING Spring Conference. Magazines, media websites and TV and radio shows that register for the conference will receive complimentary tabletop display space to show their materials, samples and more. Display space is limited.
Innisbrook Resort is hosting the conference, marking only the second time that the ING Spring Conference has been held in Florida. Innisbrook is also host to the PGA Tour’s Transitions Championship, set for March 17-20.
