(Scottsdale, Ariz.) March 6, 2011 -Bettinardi Golf, a state-of-the-art design and manufacturing facility located in the suburbs of Chicago, has agreed to sponsor the Southwest Section PGA in 2011.
The company, which uses the highest tolerance CNC-machining centers available to create some of the finest products in the world, is a product sponsor for all nine events in the SWSPGA Pro-Am Series as well as the 2011 Pro-Assistant.
Lou Ann Haan of Bettinardi Golf said PGA Professionals, PGA Assistants and Course Teaching instructors are knowledgeable professionals who best fit what the Bettinardi Golf brand is all about – superior products, attention to detail, life-long enjoyment and PGA Professional specified for each individual player.
“Putting the Bettinardi product into the hands of the most influential golf professionals is a win-win situation,” Haan said. “The professional has a product that will fit their member’s needs. The golf consumer is getting a product he/she is confident was supplied with their best interests in mind. We have chosen to support (golf) professionals who are using their skills, knowledge and services to best support their members and the Bettinardi customer.”
The company has a storied history that spans over two decades. “Bettinardi Golf has over 22 years experience collaborating with nearly every golf company in the marketplace,” Haan said. “We have proven quality is the single most important element in the golf club manufacturing process.”
Bettinardi has amassed over 70 professional victories and numerous industry awards.
Of late it has emerged as “The Boutique Golf Company.”
Its customized Country Club Series Putters (CC Series) and customized logoed Buckle are considered “Jewelry for the Greens.”
“CC Series Putters and buckles are sleek, precise, and ultimately unique to each and every club that chooses to show their pride on and off the greens,” Ms. Haan said. “The products are ‘Functional Art’ at its best.”
The Buckle is an extension of Bettinardi’s superior metal craftsmanship from the functional form of putters to the fashionable world of golf. Each buckle begins as a solid block of high-grade, double-aged stainless steel (DASS) and passes through a series of 12 processes before it can be a Bettinardi Buckle. CNC milling gradually cuts the metal, creating the form of The Buckle.
“It is then honed, engraved, buffed, polished, frosted or artistically color-filled by hand,” Haan said. The Buckle is available in two sizes: Small (1-¼”) and Large (1-½”). Like its putter counterpart, it can be customized to one’s taste and specifications. Renderings are sent for customer approval prior to milling. There are never set up costs and no minimum order requirements.
All Bettinardi Buckles come with hand tooled leather straps, which are finished with oils and tallow’s to make them strong and flexible, prevent cracking around punch holes, and tanned, so as not to tarnish the hardware. These leathers also maintain their body in use and have very little stretch. These leathers are tooled for performance without sacrificing their beauty.
Bettinardi Buckles and Straps are sold through Green Grass Accounts and Select Club Fitting locations. Buckles are available to consumers through the Bettinardi website. “Bettinardi Golf is excited to sponsor the SWSPGA,” Haan said. “We look forward to a long and productive relationship.”
