Conshohocken, Pa: On Monday, March 14th, David Ostrow, President and CEO of Body Balance for Performance and Rebecca Dengler, LPGA Master Professional/PGA member will be hosting a workshop for the LPGA Northeast Section. The topic to be presented at the workshop is the “Long Term Athletic Development (LTAD) Program.”
“The Long Term Athletic Development (LTAD) program is a cutting-edge junior golf training program that is being used by many golf federations throughout the world, including Canada, Australia, and others.” said David Ostrow, CEO of Fitgolf Enterprises, LLC, the owner of the Body Balance for Performance Program. He continues, “This program is one of the most current and successful tools available to help develop junior golfers athleticism and skill. We are excited to be able to share what we have learned about child development from the world’s experts including the members of TPI Junior Advisory Board.”
The Long Term Athletic Development program provides developmental and chronological training that recognizes the uniqueness of each junior to provide appropriate training. This information and application will be vital tool for all teachers, coaches, and volunteers who work with junior players at any level.
David Ostrow has been a physical therapist for more than 24 years and is considered by many to be an expert in the golf fitness industry. David has spent his career developing a well-defined and effective approach for restoring the human body to full function. His eclectic approach to the body comes from his diverse training with many of the leaders in physical therapy education.
Rebecca Dengler has been recognized by numerous golf organizations, publications and by her colleagues for her positive, innovative teaching style. Most recently, she was listed in the Top 50 Women Teachers in America by Golf Digest. She has been named to the US Kids Top 50 Teachers three times, earning her a Master US Kids Teacher Status. The LPGA names her a Top 50 Teacher for 2008-2009.
