Choose among 7 distinct golf courses, 3 diverse lodging properties, much more
HAMBURG, N.J., March 17, 2011 – Crystal Springs Resort, the Northeast’s premier golf resort destination located in the mountains of northern New Jersey, is putting the focus on “customization” with its just-released 2011 Golf & Stay Packages. Designed to suit the avid or occasional golfer, Crystal Springs Resort customized packages are available beginning April 1 with rates starting at $102 per person, per night.
“At Crystal Springs Resort, our experience with guests tells us that the opportunity to customize one’s own golf trip is the key to planning a perfect getaway,” said Art Walton, the resort’s vice president of golf operations. “We’re fortunate to feature seven distinct golf courses and three extraordinary lodging properties to appeal to just about every taste, in addition to an unmatched breadth, uniqueness and level of amenity offerings.”
Here’s a closer look at the customized package components:
Your choice – 18-hole round of golf (including shared cart) on any one of the resort’s premier courses: Ballyowen, Wild Turkey, Minerals, Black Bear, Cascades, Crystal Springs or Great Gorge. Plus, guests may add rounds of golf for an additional fee.
Your choice – Luxury lodging accommodations at one of three properties: Grand Cascades Lodge, Minerals Resort & Spa or Mountain Creek. Rates start at $147/person for custom stays at Grand Cascades Lodge and at $102/person for accommodations at either Minerals or Mountain Creek resorts.
Unlimited driving range use at the course played (Note: Minerals is the only course without a driving range).
Complimentary bag storage.
Access to 18-hole natural grass putting course with Grand Cascades Lodge stays.
Minerals Sports Club (indoor/outdoor heated pools, hot tub, steam room, sauna, 70+ weekly fitness classes, yoga and more) access is included with all Grand Cascades Lodge and Minerals Resort stays.
Access to amenities such as the one-of-a-kind Biosphere Pool Complex with indoor heated tropical pool, water slide, grotto-like Jacuzzi and steam room (complimentary with Grand Cascades Lodge stays).
Ballyowen, the premier course at Crystal Springs, has been named the No. 1 public golf course in New Jersey and one of the Top 50 in the U.S. by GolfWeek. This masterful design by Roger Rulewich is reminiscent of a true Scottish links course. Wild Turkey, a second Rulewich creation and sister course to Ballyowen, best described as a “basin and ridge” design, is a true challenge for the more experienced golfer. Family-friendly Minerals Golf Course is known as the best nine-hole course in the region, with superbly conditioned bentgrass fairways, two pin placements per hole and a wonderful array of amenities. There are four other courses to explore. New this season to Crystal Springs is the world-renowned David Leadbetter Golf Academy featuring a complete line of innovative instructional teaching programs and game-improvement aids.
Second only to the golf is the wide selection of accommodations at Crystal Springs Resort. Ranging from the luxurious and classic Adirondack-style Grand Cascades Lodge to the well-appointed two-, three- and four-bedroom townhomes available at Mountain Creek. Crystal Springs offers the perfect solution no matter the makeup of your party. A third option, Minerals Resort & Spa features guest rooms and suites for families and outdoor adventurers alike, as well as condominiums. Guests will surely find something to suit their personal needs and won’t be disappointed by the additional activities that can be added to the Golf & Stay Package.
The resort also boasts a four-star dining establishment, Restaurant Latour, with a 100,000+ bottle Wine Spectator Grand Award-winning wine cellar, and two full-service spas – Reflections and Elements – each ranked among the top 30 spas in America.
Crystal Springs Resort is conveniently located just one hour from New York City and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). It’s also easily accessible from LaGuardia and JFK, as well as by numerous private aviation facilities.
