ColorFusion Tops Change Hues with Heat
(TORONTO) – Quagmire – the Toronto-based apparel brand founded by two buddies with a passion for golf, surf, skate and street culture – is amping up the buzz meter at the Shell Houston Open (SHO) by offering limited-edition, children’s ColorFusion T-shirts inside the merchandise tent at this week’s PGA Tour event.
Set to challenge the Houston heat and blow kids’ minds, the unique tops in sizes 4 to 14 shift from one color to the next when the temp hits 20° Celsius (that’s 68° Fahrenheit for Quagmire’s friends in the USA). Transformation options for these one-of-a-kind SHO T-shirts include purple to pink, blue to white, green to yellow and orange to yellow.
“Kids in the Bayou City will love these rad tournament threads,” says co-founder Geoff Tait. “ColorFusion is the hottest thing going right now, and we’re the only source. I’ll never get tired the expression on someone’s face the first time they see the colors change.”
An important maintenance note for moms and dads – ColorFusion shirts are built to last. Wash and dry just like the rest of your kid’s gear – the best part is taking them out of the dryer and watching the colors change back.
In addition to the recently launched Quagmire Kids collection – which includes ColorFusion polos, shorts and hand tie-dyed t-shirts and polos – the Quagmire Golf line for men and women is offered at hundreds of green grass and off course retailers throughout North America. The company also serves as official apparel supplier to the Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy and the International Junior Golf Tour.
Quagmire is worn by a bevy of star athletes and A-listers worldwide who embody the brand’s “Not Fit for the Fairway” motto. These include celebrity participants in the PGA Tour’s Bob Hope Classic Pro-Am, as well as Tour stars Tag Ridings, Joe Affrunti, Aron Price, Brennan Webb, Rich Barcelo, Karen Stupples, Gerina Piller, Stephanie Louden and Diana D’Alessio.
