Interior Design-Build Firm Teamed with LWPB Architecture to Plot City’s Golf Future
(Oklahoma City, Okla.) — Tom Hoch — a pioneer in revenue-based design and turn-key, design-build interior architecture solutions — and LWPB Architecture have completed their clubhouse design and architecture evaluation at Lincoln Park and Earlywine Golf Clubs, two of Oklahoma City’s flagship public courses.
Hoch and LWPB Architecture – working in concert with the Oklahoma City Golf Commission — tapped their collective 60-plus years experience in golf facility design and operations to study enhancement alternatives. Using space planning, sizing and interior mapping expertise, Tom Hoch worked with the consultant team to plot a cost-effective future for the clubs.
“We are fortunate to have Tom Hoch, an authority in clubhouse design and space planning, based in our hometown,” says Mike Cassady, chairman of the Oklahoma City Golf Commission. “As locally-based firms, Tom Hoch and LWPB Architecture have their fingers on the pulse of golf in Oklahoma City, and an understanding of how we can better serve area golfers.”
“This has been a terrific opportunity to partner with LWPB and collectively affect change in our hometown,” says Hoch. “We are preparing for the next phase of the project and are excited about the future of golf in Oklahoma City.”
Lincoln Park and Earlywine golf clubs are two of the five public courses owned and operated by Oklahoma City. Lincoln Park features two 18-hole championship golf courses, The East and The West, known for their tournament-level conditioning. Earlywine is home to the North Course and The Lakes on Earlywine South, two 18-hole layouts that traverse one of Oklahoma City’s most beautiful settings.
Other recent U.S. and internationally-based Tom Hoch projects include: The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain (Marana, Arizona); The Members’ Golf Club at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota (Florida); Farm Links Golf Club (Alabama); Renaissance Golf Club (Massachusetts); TPC Valencia (California); Zavidovo Golf and Lake Resort (Russia); and Tulsa Country Club (Oklahoma); multiple projects with Troon Golf; Apes Hill Club (Barbados); and The Abaco Club (Bahamas).
