(PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.) — PGA National Resort & Spa Director of Golf Jane Broderick has been named LPGA Master Professional, marking the first time a dual member has held both the LPGA and PGA Master Professional titles.
Broderick was elected to membership in the PGA of America in 1990 and attained PGA Master Professional status. She was elected into the LPGA in 1994 with recognition over the years as its 1998 “National LPGA Professional of the Year” as well as the “LPGA Southeast Section Professional of The Year” in 1998, 2003, 2006 and 2009. She is certified in tournament operations with the PGA of America and currently serves on the faculty of the PGA Master Professional Program.
Originally from upstate New York, Broderick was first hired in the outside operations at PGA National in December 1985. In ensuing years, she succeeded in every aspect of PGA National’s noteworthy golf amenities where she worked in the award winning golf shop becoming golf shop manager, Tournament Coordinator, Director of Tournament Operations, Head Professional and her current position as Director of Golf.
