Photogallery – it’s now easier to share experiences with friends
New public profile – information about users within your grasp – simple and clear
Improved searching – enhanced searching of friends and discussion posts
Maps – selection from different map types, incl. satellite map and Street View
New clubhouse wall – quick information about friends’ activities, linked to photogalleries
Agile approach – new functionalities every month
PRAGUE – The global golf portal EXEGOLF changed over to “agile approach” this month, thanks to which the site visitors and users can look forward to new functionalities every month. The Community section was the first to undergo expansion within the new system.
Photogalleries were what was missing at EXEGOLF. Now, every user may upload a random number of photos to his or her profile. The use is made easier by a simple system allowing bulk photo uploading and adding of captions. The photos can be, of course, commented on, rated and posted at the clubhouse wall.
The public profile will newly offer not just information about a particular user or friend and their golf bag, but also a view of their clubhouse wall, a list of their friends, activities and photos.
The new clubhouse wall now shows photogalleries or single photos, and informs about friends getting connected with other users.
Agile approach allows continuous supply of small functionalities in shorter time intervals with an option of flexible changes in the direction of developing and programming works. “The agile development system is very demanding from the point of view of coordination, management as well as costs. But other than that, the system is only beneficial for development of the EXEGOLF portal,” said the portal’s representative, Petr ÌÉå_emliÌãåka. Thanks to this approach, EXEGOLF will offer new functions and services every month. The site users themselves may influence what will be programmed. They just need to get involved in the discussions about EXEGOLF at the website. “Agile development allows us to react flexibly to our users’ needs and requirements, which is actually our goal – to offer services and functions the golfers themselves wish for,” Petr Zemlicka added.
What will the next update include?
Based on the requirements of golf enthusiasts the developers started working on expansion of the “Events” widget, which will undergo significant changes, and the “Golf Bag” widget will follow. Everyone, who gets involved in the DISCUSSION at the EXEGOLF portal, may influence what these widgets are going to offer.
EXEGOLF membership is available for media representatives as well. Should you be interested in testing of all the functionalities, do not hesitate to contact us by sending a request to the address: petr.zemlicka@yoopse.com.
