Website approaching 3,000 courses on platform; Prince Edward Island and Ontario lead charge of courses added to website over past three weeks
ORLANDO, Fla., (April 8, 2011) – Over the past three weeks, 135 golf courses across the country joined GolfNow.com’s online tee-time platform, growing the roster of courses currently using the service to now more than 2,900. In the past eight weeks, Golf Channel’s GolfNow.com has continued to register courses at a record-setting pace, with anywhere between 30 and 50 courses each week joining the Internet’s largest and most comprehensive tee-time booking service.
Prince Edward Island, one of Canada’s top golf destinations, led the charge with 19 courses added to the platform, including Fox Meadow Golf & Country Club, Glasgow Hills Resort & Golf Club and Mill River Golf Course, home course to the network’s Big Break Prince Edward Island series that was filmed in 2008. The Ontario GolfNow region was second to its Canadian golf partner, adding eight courses, followed by Central Illinois, Grand Rapids and Indianapolis markets adding six courses each.
