Honolulu, Hawaii: Body Balance for Performance, The Golf Fitness Experts™ is continuing to run its golf fitness research in the Honolulu Body Balance for Performance center. This research will look at the physical causes of early hip extension (moving the pelvis towards the golf ball during the golf swing). Our goal is to identify physical factors that are linked to pain, inconsistency, or poor performance in golf. We hope to identify factors that help golfers play golf better, longer, safer and pain free.
“The preliminary data seems to be in agreement with those who assert that if a golfer fails an overhead deep squat, they will early extend in the golf swing,” says Milton Kurashige, Owner of Body Balance for Performance center in Honolulu. “The other parameters we are testing have not been so clear thus far, so we need more data to help clarify the statistics.”
The research is being done at the Body Balance for Performance center in Honolulu. Body Balance for Performance is located at The Imperial Plaza, 725 Kapiolani Blvd., Suite 202, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813. “The goal is to reach 1,000 participants,” says Kurashige.
