Playing Dynamic Gold in his irons, the winner of the Valero Texas Open scored 17 birdies for an 8-under par victory and became the PGA TOUR’s third rookie winner of the 2011 season. The Valero Texas Open marked the 15th win of the season for True Temper shafts on the PGA TOUR, and showcased the manufacturer’s extreme popularity on Tour with 123 sets in play at the event.
