French Lick, IN – French Lick Resort, located in southern Indiana, announces that it will host its first ever Cleveland Golf Scoring Clinic with PGA Tour and Ryder Cup star Jeff Overton. This premier scoring clinic will take place July 22-24.
Cleveland Golf and Top 50 Golf Digest Instructor Rob Akins, who teachers PGA Championship winner David Toms, is partnering with French Lick Resort to offer a game changing and entertaining 3-day instructional program that covers all facets of the game. In addition, Akins will be joined by PGA Tour and Ryder Cup star Jeff Overton, who together with an experienced staff of PGA Professionals will offer the finest in game improvement instruction.
Overton, who attended Indiana University in nearby Bloomington, vaulted onto the PGA Tour scene last year with four runner up finishes and a rookie spot on the Ryder Cup team earning a key two points for the American side. As part of the Cleveland Golf staff, Overton will be participating in the scoring clinic on July 22. This is a great opportunity for golfers of all abilities to not only improve on their game, but also meet and interact with a top player on the PGA Tour.
The Cleveland Golf Scoring Clinic at French Lick Resort will include a three day/two-night luxury golf experience including lodging at the nationally acclaimed West Baden Springs Hotel, listed among the top golf resorts in America by Condé Nast Traveler. Golfers will also enjoy unlimited golf on the two award winning golf courses designed by Pete Dye and Donald Ross. Unlimited access to the driving range and the Valley Links course is also included.
