Conshohocken, PA: Body Balance for Performance, The Golf Fitness Experts™ is getting closer to completing its 2011 golf fitness research in the Philadelphia Body Balance for Performance center. This research is looking at the physical causes of early hip extension (moving the pelvis towards the golf ball during the golf swing). The goal is to identify physical factors that are linked to pain, inconsistency, or poor performance in golf. We hope to identify factors that help golfers play golf better, longer, safer and pain free.

“The data we keep finding seems to be in agreement with those who assert that if a golfer fails an overhead deep squat, they will early extend in the golf swing,” says Andy Hogg, Golf Fitness Coach at Body Balance for Performance center in Philadelphia. “We are still testing the other parameters since the results of this testing are still unclear to us. We will continue the study through the end of the year.”

The research is being done at the Body Balance for Performance center in Philadelphia. Body Balance for Performance is located at 701 E. Elm Street, Suite 100 in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, 19428. “To make this research valid, we would like to reach 1,000 participants,” says Hogg.

Body Balance for Performance is a 31-location enterprise dedicated to reviewing the golf swing from a unique angle-the golfer’s body. Based on the idea that a body limitation contributes to every swing flaw, Body Balance for Performance offers the most comprehensive set of golf fitness training and assessment tools to help you play better, more consistent golf with fewer aches and pains.
