Triple threat of technology helps Aldila remain ‘hottest shafts in golf’
POWAY, Calif. – With the help of Aldila’s NV VooDoo® shaft in his driver and their NV shaft in his 5 wood, the world’s #1 player captured his second consecutive victory on the Asian Tour. The Englishman fired a bogey-free, five-under-par, final round Sunday to capture the Ballantine’s Championship in Seoul, Korea. Playing Aldila’s RIP® in his driver, the second place finisher came up just short on the final hole and missed forcing a playoff by one stroke.
“Aldila has developed three patented shaft design technologies that continually prove themselves each week across the Tours,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “The three technologies, Micro Laminate (MLT), Stabilized Core (S-core) and Reverse Interlaminar Placement (RIP) each offer players of all abilities optimum performance to maximize the potential of their individual swing.”
On the Nationwide Tour, the winner of the South Georgia Classic used Aldila’s RIP in his driver to set a new tournament record of 16-under 272 to capture his first Nationwide Tour victory of 2011. He also used Aldila’s VooDoo shaft in his 3 wood and hybrid club to help him become the first Monday qualifier to win on the Tour since 2006.
At the Zurich Classic on the PGA Tour, the Most Accurate Driver benefited from Aldila’s RIP Technology™ in his driver. He finished the tournament with an overall driving accuracy percentage of 82.14, which was well ahead of the field’s average of 63.65 percent. RIP Technology transforms the shaft from the inside out providing players with shot control. RIP shafts offer players lower torque, increased tip stability and better tip stiffness control.

They are continuÌâåÂÌâåÂally on the leading edge of the golf world through their relentless pursuit of the next best innovation. They do the experimenting so you don’t have to.
