FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla., May 2, 2011…Every day has become Friday at dozens of Edwin Watts Golf Shops in 2011, as thousands of golfers across the south/southeast have been flocking to the specialty retailer to participate in the inaugural THINK GOLF IT’S FRIDAY TOURTM.
Since Edwin Watts Golf debuted the program in early February, the THINK GOLF IT’S FRIDAY TOURTM — the golf industry’s largest grassroots consumer retail tour — has taken place at more than 30 store locations, hosting more than 25,000 golfers. In fact, many stops on the 2011 TGIF TOURTM have evolved from a series of two-day events designed to promote the game of golf heading into the weekends, into a week-long schedule of activities, encompassing a breadth of interactive programs, new product testing, PGA TOUR Player appearances, custom fitting, par 3 challenges, spectacular deals and more.

Custom fitting is one of the primary activities at each respective TGIF TOURTM event, as Edwin Watts Golf is placing special emphasis on custom fitting for golfers.
