Marlborough, MA- CHAMP spikes is proud to start the month of May with three tour wins as the winner of the PGA Tour’s Zurich Classic, the LPGA Tour’s Avnet LPGA Classic and the LPGA Futures Tour’s Symetra Classic all competed in the popular CHAMP ScorpionSTINGER™.
Following a two-hole playoff at the Zurich Classic on the PGA Tour, the champion won his second trophy of the 2011 season as well as taking the points lead in the FedEx Cup standings. In addition to the winner, CHAMP also had five of the top ten finishers playing in CHAMP spikes, known for offering the best in traction technology.
Also down south the women of both the LPGA Tour and the road to the LPGA played for a chance to win on a beautiful May day. Both the champions of the LPGA Tour and the LPGA Futures Tour won their respective events with a two-shot win over their closest competitors. Six of the top ten players at the Avnet LPGA Classic chose the #1 Brand on Tour while 64 players in the field at the Symetra Classic chose a CHAMP brand spike.
