Blasts 430-yard winning drive using Aldila’s RIP LD shaft
POWAY, Calif. – Aldila Long Drive team member Kevin Shook won the Long Drivers of America Texas Shootout Sunday by launching a winning drive of 430 yards using his RIP LD 70XX shaft. Aldila LD team members Kevin Bullard, Tim Burke and Brooks Baldwin also finished in the top 8.
Aldila’s RIP LD is a longer version of the original RIP with an optimized tip section for the additional bending forces created by the higher club head speeds of long drivers. The standard RIP, which has multiple wins on the PGA Tour features lower torque, increased tip stability and better tip stiffness control.
