JLPGA Tour pro Yuri Fudoh captures her 50th win at the Cyber Agent Ladies
ANAHEIM, Calif. – MATRIX Shafts would like to congratulate JLPGA Tour pro Yuri Fudoh on capturing her 50th victory recently at the Cyber Agent Ladies at Tsurumai Country Club in Japan. In trusting the MATRIX OZIK TPHD in her driver, Fudoh has become only the third JLPGA Professional to reach this mark. Fudoh has also been the leading money winner six consecutive times on the JLPGA Tour and was the first JLPGA tour player to earn over 100 million Japanese yen in a season – going on to accomplish that four out of six seasons.
Fudoh’s best season on the JLPGA Tour came when she won 10 tournaments and two majors in which her money total not only led that tour, but exceeded the money list winner on the men’s Japan Golf Tour as well. Since then, Fudoh has gone on to break the billion Japanese yen mark for her career earnings. Winning the Cyber Agent Ladies marks her second victory the 2011 season, which has also positioned her as a serious threat to taking home the money title again this year.
