PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (May 16, 2011) – The most popular time to head for Florida is in the winter but the GolfTalk Live radio show is headed to Palm Harbor, Florida for two shows at Innisbrook Resort – May 21 and May 28.
This is a return engagement for GolfTalk Live, after doing a Phillies Spring Training Preview Show from Innisbrook, just a mile north of the Phillies spring training site, in February. Now, the occasion is strictly golf, as the International Network of Golf will be holding its 21st annual Spring Conference at Innisbrook.
Leaders from every walk of the golf industry will be in Florida for this conference, which focuses on the business side of golf. Many of those leaders will be guests on the May 21 show, which previews the conference, and the May 28 show, which wraps up the week of workshops and discussions.
GolfTalk Live host Tony Leodora will have regular show contributor and Philadelphia Daily News golf writer Mike Kern along as co-host for the two shows. Guests will include people from the manufacturing, architecture and management segments of the golf industry.
Each show will be recorded live, as part of a GolfTalk Live Party, in the Osprey clubhouse at Innisbrook, from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 20 and Friday, May 27. The public is invited to attend. There will be door prizes and a trivia contest.
GolfTalk Live airs 52 weeks a year from 7 to 8 a.m. each Saturday on WNTP 990-AM and on www.wntp.com. It also can be heard any time during the week after the show airs, by going to the website, www.golftalklive.net.
