SAN DIEGO, CA. – Heritage Golf Group announced today that Hillcrest Bank has taken possession of The Country Club of Whispering Pines and Foxfire Golf and Country Club, in Pinehurst, North Carolina, through foreclosure in a bankruptcy proceeding. Therefore, Heritage Golf Group, who was previously acting as Chief Restructuring Officer for the lender, is now in place under a full management agreement for both facilities.
As the management company, Heritage Golf Group now has full responsibility for all areas of operation at The Country Club of Whispering Pines and Foxfire Golf and Country Club, including sales, marketing, maintenance, and food and beverage.
“Under this new management agreement with Hillcrest Bank, we can provide unique personal attention to the operation through the skills of our senior staff,” said Andy Crosson, Executive Vice President of Heritage Golf Group. “We will provide significant resources towards improving operating efficiencies and operating results, all while maintaining a high quality level of service.”
