First Golf Networking Event Will Be Held At Longbow Golf Club On Friday, June 24
TEMPE, Ariz. (June 15, 2011) – DnA Golf, manufacturer of the world’s only private label, high performance golf driver, is creating a new golf networking event called the DnA Golf Corporate Challenge Series.
The Corporate Challenge Series will feature fun golf-oriented networking events where companies can compete against one another for cash and prizes. The Series will act as a networking venue where participants can collaborate with each other in a low-key golf centric environment and where DnA Golf can interact with their corporate customers.
The Corporate Challenge Series will run over a period of 10 months, and will include at least two smaller golf-oriented networking events and one conventional 18-hole golf tournament each month.
The golf format will change each week and DnA Golf will share co-hosting rights with select partners. Each co-host will help establish the format for the event, as well as promote the event to their database and provide prizes for the winners. Each co-host also will help host the networking event following golf and will select a designated charity that will receive a portion of the proceeds from each weekly Series.
The first Corporate Challenge Series event will take place at Longbow Golf Club on Friday, June 24, ,with a shotgun start beginning at 4 p.m. This inaugural event will feature foursomes competing in a 9-hole tournament with a somewhat unconventional format, followed by a networking happy hour from 5:30 – 7 p.m. The cost is $40 per golfer, or $10 for those only attending the happy hour, which includes two complimentary drink tickets and light appetizers. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit Sunshine Acres of Mesa.
“DnA Golf’s vision is to establish a niche position in golf by focusing on corporate customers,” said Howard Lindsay, CEO of DnA Golf. “Our product line of patented, high-performance drivers are co-branded with the logo of corporate partners and we continually strive to expand how we serve this niche market. The Corporate Challenge Series is a way to connect with and support our core customers and have fun doing it.”
Participants can create their own four-person “corporate” team or come solo or in pairs and connect with other teams for that week’s event. Teams are encouraged to participate in as many Corporate Challenge Series events as possible as they can earn points for their participation in each event. The team that accrues the most points each month will earn an exemption into the season-ending 18-hole Series Championship in March. Additionally, the two co-hosts who raise the most money for their designated Series charity also will receive a foursome to the Series Championship.
The Corporate Challenge Series has support from a number of sponsors, including Antigua, MetLife, OB Sports and the Southwest Section PGA. Several OB Sports facilities have already been designated as host sites for the Series.

About DnA Golf:
Based in Tempe, Ariz., DnA Golf, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of VyaTek Sports (www.vyatek.com), a company that for more than 10-years has been designing high-end sports equipment for leading brands such as Wilson, Louisville Slugger and Rawlings.
DnA Golf, Inc. was formed in August 2009, but the concept for the first DnA Golf driver began in 2002 when BMW asked VyaTek Sports if they could develop a high-performance golf driver worthy of their “Ultimate Driving Machine” tagline. This effort culminated in the creation of a radical new driver that was highly tunable and had the look, feel, sound and performance of a well-made German car.
DnA Golf has a unique market niche, focusing on corporate brands. With more than 30% of rounds played attributed to “business”, golf is an attractive area to build brand loyalty and awareness.
DnA Golf also has a unique distribution model, DnA Direct, that offers anyone the opportunity to become an independent distributor of DnA Golf’s products. Independent distributors can purchase clubs at wholesale and sell at a profit; receive bonuses for signing new distributors and earn commissions from subordinate distributors in their own “DnA Chain”.
