Giving back has been part of the 31 year old Phoenix based company’s motto from the start. Not only will Daphne’s Headcovers make you smile when you see them on the golf bag but some of their headcovers are doing more than just protecting your clubs.
Monkey Made of Sockies is carried by LPGA touring pro Leta Lindley. A portion of the proceeds of this smiling monkey headcover go to benefit children with Prader Willi Syndrome. “I’ve been a big fan of Daphne’s for a long time, and I finally met Jane at the PGA show a few years back,” said Lindley.” I knew that Jane had partnered on projects with other touring pros, and she was so open and receptive to our relationship and to the tournament I do that benefit the Prader Willi syndrome.”
Two time US Open champion and PGA Tour star who was recently inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame Ernie Els can be found sporting Daphne’s lion headcover. Sales of the lion benefit Els for Autism, with the goal of funding an Autism Center of Excellence. “Working with Daphne’s and Jane Spicer has been both rewarding and a pleasure. Jane and the entire Daphne’s team have backed all our charitable efforts with efficiency and enthusiasm, it’s a terrific partnership” said Els.
Pam Gaber, CEO of Gabriel’s Angels a Phoenix based charity that uses pet therapy to deliver healing pet therapy to abused, neglected and at-risk children, nurturing their ability to love and trust, thereby freeing them from the cycle of violence said, “We are honored to partner with Daphne’s Headcovers. Jane Spicer’s enthusiasm and support of Gabriel’s Angels mission is rooted in her belief that children can be healed by the unconditional love of a therapy dog. Philanthropy and giving back is ingrained in the culture of her amazing company.” Rumor has it that a headcover designed in the likeness of Gabriel, Gabriel’s Angels founding dog is soon to be released.
Each of the company’s headcovers exhibits the Daphne’s Difference. From conception to completion, each and every headcover is created with an eye on quality, function, form and attention to minute detail.
“Our company reputation is based on thirty one years of providing quality through custom designs and attention to the smallest details,” said Spicer. “All of our 200-plus headcover designs bear our factory phone number. We are so convinced of our quality that should anything ever go wrong with one of our products, we will fix or replace it at our expense.
