Tinley Park, IL, July 1, 2011– Bettinardi Golf is proud to announce its partnership with the Putt for Patriots campaign benefiting the Folds of Honor Foundation. The Folds of Honor Foundation salutes the sacrifice of fallen and disabled service members by ensuring their families are not left behind. The inaugural Putt for Patriots campaign begins this 4th of July Holiday weekend starting July 1st, 2011 and running all summer through September 5th, 2011. The flagship promotion is an annual event where golfers of all abilities, sign-up online and pledge to play a round of golf at any course they choose. The intention is to have family or friends make pledges either per putt or a flat donation to move towards the goal of $1 million dollars. Willing participants can register to participate or make a pledge through the link to “Putt for Patriots” at www.bettinardi.com. Sponsors can make donations to both friends and celebrity participants like PGA Tour professional and Bettinardi Golf staffer Brian Gay. Bettinardi Golf is also an active partner of Patriot Golf Day held annually during Labor Day weekend.
