Bellaire, Michigan – The Golf Connection LLC together with Shanty Creek Resorts announces the Inaugural Michigan Pro-Am, the firm’s first stateside Destination Pro-Am, will be held September 7-11, 2011. The 54-hole event will be contested over Shanty Creek Resorts’ championship golf courses: The Legend, designed by Arnold Palmer, the Tom Weiskopf-designed Cedar River Golf Club, and locally renowned Schuss Mountain Golf Club. The Legend winds through beautiful hills and ridges while offering stunning views of Lake Bellaire and the surrounding northern Michigan hardwood forests. Cedar River is a stunning, challenging course with dramatic changes in elevation. And the Schuss Mountain course combines tight fairways with elevation changes throughout.

The Golf Connection LLC welcomes entries from individual players and teams without host professional, providing all amateur players meet the entry requirements outlined on the tournament website.
