Event Will Be Co-Hosted By Snell & Wilmer And Will Feature Skills Challenge And Networking Happy Hour
TEMPE, Ariz. (July 5, 2011) – DnA Golf, manufacturer of the world’s only private label, high performance golf driver, will be hosting its second Corporate Challenge Series at Longbow Golf Club on Friday, July 8.
Co-hosted by Snell and Wilmer, this event will feature a Driving and Putting Skills Challenge, followed by a networking happy hour on the Longbow patio.
“We had a great turnout and response from our first Corporate Challenge Series event held June 24th and we are excited to have Snell & Wilmer on board as our co-host for the next event,” said CEO Howard Lindsay. “We designed this series to connect with our corporate customers and to introduce people in the business community with each other in a low-key, fun golf environment.”
The Skills Challenge will start at 4:00 p.m., with the happy hour networking to follow at 5:00 p.m. The cost is $25 per player for entry into the Skills Challenge and happy hour, which includes two drink tickets and complimentary appetizers. For those attending only the happy hour, the cost is $10.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Rosie’s House (www.rosieshouse.org), the charity designated by co-host Snell & Wilmer. To sign up for the event on July 8th, contact Deanna Fero at dfero@dnagolf.com or (480) 240-6004.
The Corporate Challenge Series was created by DnA Golf to feature fun golf-oriented networking events where companies can compete against one another for cash, prizes and bragging rights. The Series will act as a networking venue where participants can collaborate with each other in a low-key golf centric environment and where DnA Golf can support their corporate customers.
The Corporate Challenge Series includes golf-oriented networking events held every other week through the summer with conventional 18-hole golf tournaments held throughout the year. An electronic leader board for both individual players and their respective companies can be viewed at www.dnagolf.com/ccs.
The golf format will change for each event and DnA Golf will share co-hosting rights with select partners. Each co-host will establish the format for the event, promote the event to their database and provide prizes for the winners. Co-hosts will also select a designated charity that will receive a donation from each event.
Participants can create their own 4-person team, come solo or in pairs and connect with other players for that week. Players and teams are encouraged to participate in as many Corporate Challenge Series events as possible as they earn points for their participation in each event. The team that accrues the most points will be recognized at a season-ending Series Championship.
Additionally, the co-hosts who raise the most money for their designated charity also will receive a special recognition at the Series Championship.
The Corporate Challenge Series has support from a number of sponsors, including Antigua, MetLife, OB Sports and the Southwest Section PGA. Multiple OB Sports facilities have been designated as host sites for the DnA Golf Corporate Challenge Series.
A schedule of Corporate Challenge Series events, printable registration forms and an updated Series leaderboard all can be viewed at www.dnagolf.com/ccs. If interested in becoming a sponsor of the Corporate Challenge Series or to be a co-host of an event, call 480.240.6004.
About DnA Golf:
Based in Tempe, Ariz., DnA Golf, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of VyaTek Sports (www.vyatek.com), a company that for more than 10-years has been designing high-end sports equipment for leading brands such as Wilson, Louisville Slugger and Rawlings.
DnA Golf, Inc. was formed in August 2009, but the concept for the first DnA Golf driver began in 2002 when BMW asked VyaTek Sports if they could develop a high-performance golf driver worthy of their “Ultimate Driving Machine” tagline. This effort culminated in the creation of a radical new driver that was highly tunable and had the look, feel, sound and performance of a well-made German car.
DnA Golf has a unique market niche, focusing on corporate brands. With more than 30% of rounds played attributed to “business”, golf is an attractive area to build brand loyalty and awareness.
DnA Golf also has a unique distribution model, DnA Direct, that offers anyone the opportunity to become an independent distributor of DnA Golf’s products. Independent distributors can purchase clubs at wholesale and sell at a profit; receive bonuses for signing new distributors and earn commissions from subordinate distributors in their own “DnA Chain”.
