44th PGA Professional National Champ uses Aldila’s NV Proto, NV golf shafts to help capture title
POWAY, Calif. – Aldila’s VooDoo® golf shaft played an integral role for the winner of the AT&T National at the Aronimink Golf Club, Newton Square, Pa. He shot a course record 62 on Saturday and a bogey-free 66 final round en route to his second win on the PGA Tour. His victory helped move him to the No.1 spot in the FedEx Cup Standings and 10th in the Official World Golf Ranking.
The VooDoo’s patent-pending S-core Technology™, or stabilized core, is designed to increase distance and provide outstanding accuracy with each swing. Its innovative rib structure runs the length of the shaft increasing hoop strength/stiffness so much that it is 80 percent greater than conventional graphite, and up to 60 percent greater than competitors’ attempts at cross sectional stabilization.
Led by their latest shaft technology, the RIP, Aldila (www.aldila.com) captured the wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer counts at the AT&T National, according to the Darrell Survey. The double graphite golf shaft count win marked the 22nd time in the past 25 weeks that “The Hottest Shafts In Golf” has won both shaft counts on the PGA Tour.
One of the Top 10 finishers at the AT&T switched his driver, 3 and 5 wood shafts to Aldila’s new RIPd NV and improved his driving distance average by 8.9 yards.
The Most Accurate Driver on the PGA Tour plays Aldila’s RIP Technology™, in his Driver. In fact the RIP’s accuracy is trusted by 3 of the top 5 leaders in driving accuracy on the PGA Tour.
“More and more Tour players are switching to the RIP (Reverse Interlaminar Placement Technology) because the shaft provides lower torque, increased tip stability and better tip stiffness control,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “RIP transforms the golf shaft from the inside out providing players with shot control.”
Aldila’s Micro Laminate Technology (MLT) was beneficial to the winner of the 44th PGA Professional National Championship in Hershey, Pa. Playing Aldila’s NV Proto™ golf shafts in his 3 and 5 woods and their NV® shaft in his hybrid club, the winner of the 44th PGA Professional National Championship in Hershey, Pa., captured his first national title.
MLT is comprised of ultra-thin layers of premium grade materials. Aldila shafts using this technology use up to twice as many plies as competitor shafts producing a stable, solid laminate void of “dead zones.” This design revolution eliminates inconsistent shots caused by shaft variability, providing superior feel.
Aldila’s patented shaft design technologies provide the perfect balance of applied art and engineering. They are continually on the leading edge of the golf world through their relentless pursuit of the next best innovation. They do the experimenting so you don’t have to. Pushing success to the edge and redefining how power should feel. Are you playing Aldila, or just graphite?
