‘The Hottest Shafts In Golf’ dominates wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer counts on PGA Tour

POWAY, Calif. – With the help of Aldila’s NV shaft, featuring their patent-pending Micro Laminate Technology® (MLT), the winner of the Barclays Scottish Open on the European Tour captured his third win of the season. He wrapped up the rain-shortened event with a 63, his lowest round on the European Tour, and maintained his lead in the Official World Golf Rankings. The World’s No. 2 player, with 21 career victories, plays Aldila’s NV VooDoo® shaft in his driver and their NV golf shaft in his 5 wood.

“MLT offers the player enhanced performance and feel,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “The consistent taper and slim profile produces a shaft with consistent performance, flex and feel throughout the length of the shaft while eliminating the dull ‘boardy’ feel of other shafts on the market.”

Aldila’s latest shaft technology, RIP (Reverse Interlaminar Placement), helped “The Hottest Shafts In Golf” maintain their dominance of the wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer counts on the PGA Tour at the John Deere Classic. Aldila (www.aldila.com) won both shaft counts for the 23rd time in the past 26 weeks by having 25 more wood shafts and 10 more hybrid shafts in play than their closest competitor, according to the Darrell Survey.

RIP Technology™ transforms the golf shaft from the inside out and provides players with lower torque, increased tip stability and better tip stiffness control.

The Most Accurate Driver on the PGA Tour plays Aldila’s RIP in his Driver. In fact, the RIP is trusted by three of the top five leaders in driving accuracy on the PGA Tour.

Aldila’s patented shaft design technologies provide the perfect balance of applied art and engineering. They are continually on the leading edge of the golf world through their relentless pursuit of the next best innovation. They do the experimenting so you don’t have to. Pushing success to the edge and redefining how power should feel. Are you playing Aldila, or just graphite?
