Show pays homage to The Open Championship and Canadian Open
In honor of The Open Championship and Canadian Open, TRUE tours are now available for purchase in a limited edition white and red color design. This color combination ties in nicely to the Cross of St. George which is on the flag at every hole at Royal St. George in Sandwich, England this week.
Thanks to a partnership with Golf Town, the exclusive retail provider of TRUE in Canada, the white and red limited edition shoes also are available in advance of the Canadian Open, which is being held at Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club in Vancouver, B.C.
TRUE is releasing 400 of the White/Red shoes, which will be available online at www.truelinkswear.com and at select Golf Town locations throughout Canada.
This is the third limited edition shoe TRUE has done this year. The white/green Masters shoe and red/white/blue U.S. Open shoes sold out in a short time.
The TRUE tour is built on a barefoot platform, making it the lightest golf shoe on the PGA TOUR with the thinnest sole in golf. TRUE footwear was inspired by an emerging barefoot trend in running, where many shoes have shifted away from highly-engineered structures, such as arch supports and heavily-cushioned heels, to a shoe that better utilizes the anatomical features of the foot. The idea is that nature’s engineering is best, and that a minimalist shoe with an ergonomic traction system allows a golfer’s body to naturally stabilize itself while feeling the course like never before.
TRUE tour shoes can be purchased online at www.truelinkswear.com for a retail price of $159 or through select Golf Town locations throughout Canada. The price will be $159, just like our other tours, and they areÌ¢?å¬available in size 6.5 through 15. The limited edition TRUE tours will ship next week.
