AHEAD offers limited edition caps, polos and accessory gift packs
NEW BEDFORD, Mass., Aug. 3, 2011 – AHEAD is supporting national Patriot Golf Day, Sept. 2-5, through its popular merchandise program. AHEAD’s merchandise program includes limited edition Patriot Golf Day caps and new polos and accessory gift packs. AHEAD has been a participant in the program since 2008. AHEAD will donate $2.50 for every cap and polo shirt sold and $1.50 for each accessory gift set to the Folds of Honor Foundation.
“AHEAD and our sales team are honored to support our fallen heroes families through this terrific program,” said Jeff Waller, national sales director, AHEAD. “Our accounts have been very supportive over the past three years and with the addition of polos and accessories, we anticipate even greater support. The Folds of Honor Foundation is a wonderful cause and together we are making a little difference in the lives of military families.”
AHEAD has donated more than $35,000 to the foundation through the merchandise program over the past three years.
AHEAD’s Patriot Golf Day merchandise program will include a selection of four limited-edition logo caps, six polo shirts and two accessory gift packs. The three logos available on the caps, polos and accessories are the F-16 Viper fighter jet logo with the Patriot Golf Day logo, the American flag with a fighter jet logo and the Folds of Honor Foundation logo.
Each cap has the Folds of Honor Foundation words or Patriot Golf Day embroidered on the back. The caps are available in two styles, classic fit or extreme fit and in the following colors – red, white, bone, navy and light blue. The suggested retail of the caps are $19.95.
The polo shirts are available in solid colors of red, royal blue, cobalt, black and white and in stripe combinations of red, white and blue. One of the Folds of Honors logos appears on the front left chest of each polo shirt. The suggested retail of the polos range from $45-50.
AHEAD offers two accessory packs – hat clip pack and divot tool pack. The suggested retail ranges from $18-24.

Golf shops can order the Patriot Golf Day caps through their local AHEAD sales representative.
PGA Professional Dan Rooney, an F-16 fighter pilot in the Oklahoma Air National Guard, is the founder of the Folds of Honor Foundation. He has served three tours in Iraq. The Folds of Honor Scholarship Fund provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of military service members disabled or killed in the line of duty.
