Today, KBS™ is pleased to announce Titleist’s adoption of the brand-new KBS C-Taper shaft for custom department orders available immediately through Titleist fitters nationwide. Today’s announcement highlights rising popularity for the KBS C-Taper shaft which was introduced this May among premiere fitters for KBS nationwide. Since introduction, the KBS C-Taper has received a welcome response across the golf industry delivering performance benefits that are proven in independent robot testing and trusted by the #1 U.S. Golfer in the world and current Titleist Brand Ambassador. Following Titleist’s adoption of the C-Taper shaft, expect to see the KBS C-Taper in Titleist Fitting Carts starting January 2012.
Technology behind the KBS C-Taper is based on optimal shaft geometry, similar to the KBS Tour design, for improving club performance per the target player. Incorporating a unique calculation of taper rate and section balance, the KBS C-Taper promotes a lower trajectory and reduced spin without sacrificing the signature feel of KBS designs. Designed in conjunction with the KBS Tour series, the C-Taper fills a performance gap within the KBS product line targeting players with a quick swing tempo or needing a lower shot trajectory.
