Phoenix, Arizona -The Raven at South Mountain recently announced the club has been renamed as the Raven Golf Club – Phoenix. “The new identity provides a better geographical orientation and will aid the marketing efforts for the club regionally, nationally, and internationally” stated Phil Green, Chief Operating Officer and Principal of OB Sports. “With all of the enhancements planned for the Raven, we felt the name change will open the ‘next chapter’ for the property, and reinforces the prominence of the new era created for this popular facility,” added Green.
Earlier this summer, OB Sports was selected to manage The Raven, and was also charged with overseeing a number of owner-funded enhancement projects that include a comprehensive renovation of the bunkers, landscape improvements and specialized tree management programs. In addition, during the fall overseed closure period, the club will complete improvements to the clubhouse that include interior and exterior painting, new interior design elements, kitchen upgrades, restaurant rebranding and additional landscaping.
