Festivities feature 99 holes of golf, including The Champion Course, poolside BBQs, concert and more
(PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.) — PGA National Resort & Spa — home of the PGA TOUR Honda Classic – announces its “Labor Day Weekend Golf-A-Thon” and festivities at the legendary destination, Sept. 2 – 5.
To honor our military service personnel, a portion of all weekend proceeds will be donated to Patriot Golf Day – flagship fundraiser for the Folds of Honor Foundation that provides postsecondary education for the children and spouses of military men and women disabled or killed while serving.
Labor Day Weekend Golf-A-Thon includes 99 total holes played including the famed Champion Course (27, Sunday), The Palmer (18, Friday, Monday) and 18 holes each on The Haig and Squire Courses (Saturday). All rounds will commence with daily shotgun starts. Three Golf-A-Thon packages are available and all include a Saturday night poolside BBQ (6:30 – 9 p.m.):
• All-inclusive three-night stay with three days of golf, daily breakfast ($630 per person)
• Three days of golf, daily breakfast, no accommodations ($180 per person)
• Three days of golf, daily breakfast, no accommodations ($140 per person for PGA National members)

Additionally, a la carte Labor Day festivities include a dinner seating at the Ironwood Grille sponsored by Cola-Cola (Friday, 5 – 7 p.m.); poolside concert featuring Street Talk in conjunction with 98.7 The Gator (Friday, 7 – 9 p.m., $10 per person); concert after party “Happy Hours” at the lively iBAR (Friday, 9 – 11 p.m.); poolside BBQ on Sunday afternoon (11 – 3 p.m., $15.95 for adults, $9.95 for children), Corvette Club Car exhibit (Sunday, 12 – 4 p.m.); and Labor Day poolside BBQ (Monday, 11 – 3 p.m., $15 per person).
