Newest amenity of Little Creek Casino Resort readies for grand opening weekend (Sept. 16-18) and all-day appearance by PGA Tour Star Fred Couples (Sept. 17)
(SHELTON, WA) – The brand-new Salish Cliffs Golf Club at Little Creek Casino Resort – located a short drive from Olympia and Seattle – is accepting tee times at www.salish-cliffs.com, in advance of the club’s Grand Opening Weekend (Sept. 16-18).
Tee times can be booked with a major credit card up to 10 days in advance, and can also be booked up to 60 days in advance – for those with confirmed Little Creek Casino Resort hotel reservations – by calling the golf shop at 360.462.3673.
Public rates through September for the Gene Bates-designed course are $89 for 18 holes, $50 for nine, and include green fees and cart (excluding tax). Casino MVP Player’s Card Holders pay $84.
Salish Cliff Golf Club’s Grand Opening Weekend will be highlighted by an all-day appearance on Saturday, Sept. 17 by PGA TOUR star and Seattle native Fred Couples, who will meet and greet all 128 players of a first-come, first-served shotgun event. The cost – which also includes lunch and a clinic given by Couples – is $500 per twosome and $1,000 per foursome. Salish Cliffs Golf Club is a par-72, 7,269-yard championship course providing an intimate setting with 16 of 18 holes encircled by lush forestry. Players of all levels will enjoy this scenic layout that offers 360-degree views of Kamilche Valley, thanks to five sets of tees. The black “tips” received a rating/slope of 74.6/137 from the USGA while the 5,313-yard forward tees come in with a 70.7 rating and 125 slope.
The Salish Cliffs clubhouse offers a full-service pro shop and restaurant. A wrap-around deck and mezzanine overlooks hole Nos. 9 and 18 and provides a perfect spot for a pre- or post-round meal and refreshment.
