September 22, 2011

LAKE MARY, FL – The International Network of Golf is now accepting nominations in a dozen categories for the 19th Annual ING Industry Honors Awards. Nominations must be into the ING office by October 24 in order to be considered for this year’s edition of “Golf’s Academy Awards.”

The International Network of Golf, a 22-year-old, non-profit networking organization, conducts the ING Industry Honors program. Nominees do not have to be members of ING, and can come from anyone in the industry, even from the nominees themselves. It is asked that a maximum 70-word description of the product, service or achievement accompany the nomination. In the case of print ads or TV commercials, a copy of the ad would be preferable.

The categories include: Product Ingenuity; Business Achievement; TV Commercial; Print Advertising; Player Development; Golf Course Architecture; Tournament Service and Public Relations/Promotions.

Sub-committees consisting of experts in the specific category will review all entries for the category. They will eventually trim the list to three for the final ballot. Winners will be determined by a vote of the ING membership.

Nominees will be recognized and winners announced at the Presentation Press Conference in ClubING (309-A) at the Orange County Convention Center on the second day of the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show.

To make a nomination, send an e-mail to: mike@jamisongolf.com, or holly@golfmarketinginc.com. For more information, visit www.inggolf.com, or call 407-328-0500, ext. 1.
