Anaheim, CA – MATRIX would like to congratulate MATRIX Advisory Staff member Richard Terga on his victory at the Palm Beach Open at the Bear Lakes Country Club. Richard’s arsenal of shafts included a TP6HD in his driver, an HD9 in his 3 wood, an Altus Hybrid, Ozik Program Iron shafts, and the new MATRIX prototype putter shaft. Since starting to use the new MATRIX putter shaft, Richard has won 3 tournaments, one of which earned him an exemption into the Miccosukee Championship on the Nationwide Tour. Earlier this summer, Terga won the Assistants Championships of both the South Florida PGA Section and the Southeast Chapter event. Terga credits the new putter shaft, saying that he is making more putts for birdie and that he now feels more comfortable over every putt, regardless of distance. He further added that he appreciates the smooth feel and the stability of the MATRIX putter shaft that he did not get with a steel shaft.
Terga reported that MATRIX shafts are an important part to his game, saying that “Performance is a given with MATRIX, but the stability and the consistency it provides is something that I can count on in all of their shafts that I never had before I switched.”
