Emotions run high when mystery illness hits competitor on “Big Break Ireland”; “Feherty’ to air “Special Best Of!” finale; “Golf in America” to feature Augusta State, speed golf and the Cow Pasture Golf Classic; “GolfNow” travel series showcases Ottawa; “Golf Central” expands coverage Thursday-Sunday for Tiger Woods’ PGA Tour Fall Series debut at Frys.com Open; Original series premieres and highlights, all times Eastern

Big Break Ireland (New, Episode Three)

On a new episode of Big Break Ireland, team emotions will run high when one competitor comes down with an unexpected illness during the series’ opening challenge, changing the face of the competition. Heading into Tuesday’s new episode, 10 competitors remain, with one competitor from each team (Liffey and Straffan) having been eliminated.

Big Break Ireland features an international cast of six men and six women competing against each other in an attempt to make their lifelong dreams of playing alongside the world’s top golfers a reality. Filmed at The K Club in Kildare, Ireland, the ultimate male or female winner will be awarded two exemptions from the four exemptions up for grabs – which represent events on the LPGA Tour, European Tour and Ladies European Tour – and more than $80,000 in cash and prizes, one of the most valuable prizes in the series’ 16-season history.

Feherty (Special Best Of! Episode)

Host: Kelly Tilghman

Interview Subject: David Feherty

Airtime: Tuesday, 8-9 p.m.

Golf Channel’s Kelly Tilghman will turn the tables on David Feherty when she hosts a Special Best of! episode to wrap the freshman season of Feherty. Tilghman will interview Feherty about his favorite moments, interviews and reflections on having his own show.

Golf in America (New)

Airtime: Wednesday, 9-9:30 p.m.

Host: Anthony Anderson

Wednesday’s new episode of Golf in America will take a look at golf from a different perspective. The episode will first head to Wisdom, Mont., to feature the Big Hole Cow Pasture Golf Classic, a golf tournament with ATV’s, jeeps, unique hole locations and unique players. Then, visit the campus of Augusta State University in Augusta, Ga., home to the two-time NCAA national champion men’s golf team. Finally, the show will introduce viewers to Christopher Smith of Portland, Ore., a man who plays the game to a beat all his own, and at a pace unlike anyone else.

GolfNow: Ottawa

Airtime: Monday, 9-9:30 p.m.

Host: Lauren Thompson

Host Lauren Thompson will take viewers to Canada’s capital city, Ottawa, on a golf getaway that will showcase the area’s top golf courses and everything the city has to offer. Thompson also will take viewers on a whitewater rafting trip and will be introduced to the sport of curling through her first-ever curling lesson from Ottawa native and former world champion, Craig Savill.

Live Airings: Monday-Wednesday, 6-6:30 p.m.

Thursday-Sunday, 8-8:30 p.m.

Golf Central Pre Game

Live Airings: Thursday-Friday, 3-4 p.m.

Saturday-Sunday, 12:30-1 p.m., 3:30-4 p.m.

Golf Central Pre Game will expand to one hour at 3 p.m. ET Thursday and Friday to preview the network’s live coverage of the Frys.com Open, featuring Tiger Woods’ return to competitive golf and his PGA TOUR Fall Series debut.

Golf Central and Golf Central Pre Game also will break down all of the action in the world of golf throughout the week, including highlights and analysis of the Bankia Madrid Masters, LPGA Hana Bank Championship, the Insperity Championship and the Frys.com Open.

The Golf Fix (New)

Host: Michael Breed

Airtime: Monday, 7-8 p.m.

The Golf Fix host Michael Breed will look ahead to Tiger Woods’ PGA TOUR return at the Frys.com Open. Breed also will provide tips from his new book, “The 3-Degree Putting Solution,” give a lucky viewer his own lesson and answer viewer questions throughout the show.

School of Golf (New)

Chapter 31: Bunker Special

Host: Martin Hall

Co-Host: Charlie Rymer

Airtime: Tuesday, 7-7:30 p.m. ET

School of Golf host Martin Hall will head out of the studio and onto the course for a show dedicated entirely to bunker play. Hall will teach all of the shots necessary from greenside bunkers, including plugged lies and distance control. Hall will also share his best tips from fairway bunkers.

Grey Goose 19th Hole (New)

Host: Todd Lewis

Panelists: John Hawkins and Jay Coffin

Contributor: Win McMurry

Airtime: Wednesday, 7:30-8 p.m.

Todd Lewis, John Hawkins and Jay Coffin will debate the hot topics in golf and preview Tiger Woods’ return to the PGA TOUR at the Frys.com Open. Win McMurry also will contribute during the show.
