With only 4 events left for players to secure their TOUR cards for 2012, more PGA players have turned to SuperStroke putter grips at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospital Open. 8 players using SuperStroke jumbo putter grips enjoyed success at TPC Summerlin, led by a former University of New Mexico standout and a Duke University grad.
Enjoying his best season on TOUR, the former New Mexico Lobo switched to a SuperStroke putter grip and finished T5, his best finish since February. Earning just over $2 million so far this season, this player’s next move is to be inside the top 30 on the money list, gaining him exemption into the 2012 Masters.
Also finishing strong at TPC Summerlin was the former Duke Blue Devil, earning a T16 for the week. Using his SuperStroke Slim Lite, this player recorded 21 birdies for the week and posted all 4 rounds in the 60’s. The Slim Lite, 1.3″ in diameter, eliminates wrist breakdown and allows players to keep the putter square at impact.
SuperStroke Golf continues to push through the fall series on the PGA Tour with new player representation coming each week. Look for the Fry’s.com open in California to be another big week for SuperStroke jumbo putter grips.
