Alexandria, VA – October 6, 2011 – The Club Managers Association of America is pleased to announce that registration is now open for its 85th World Conference and Club Business Expo. The 2012 event will take place in New Orleans, LA, at the New Orleans Marriott and New Orleans Morial Convention Center from February 24-28. The Conference offers club management professionals from around the world the opportunity to take part in education sessions and peer networking events as well as preview the latest products and services available in the industry at the Club Business Expo.
Most notably, the 2012 event will include more than 70 education sessions on topics such as family friend club programming, the latest industry trends, enhancing the member experience and strategic planning. All CMAA Conference education sessions will address the myriad challenges facing today’s club management professionals. Attendees will have the opportunity to attend full-day Pre-Conference Workshops as well as 90-minute and three-hour sessions presented by industry experts. The two general educations sessions will feature addresses by former New Orleans Saints Quarterback and New Orleanian Archie Manning and internationally sought-after speaker, author and organizational consultant Joseph A. Michelli, Ph.D.
Held in conjunction with the 85th World Conference, the Club Business Expo spotlights products and services of interest to the entire club and hospitality industry including architectural and interior design, furniture, software, spa and fitness and more. CMAA’s annual exposition will be held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center on February 26-27.
