ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 6, 2011) – Golf Channel today announced recent staff additions to its Orlando headquarters and studios.
Krista Wakefield, Executive Projects Manager, will manage project development important to the long-term growth of Golf Channel and its related businesses, as well as representing the network’s interest within golf industry associations and boards. Wakefield most recently came from the PGA TOUR, where she worked as an event planner in customer relations.
Jennifer Ruhe joined as Associate Producer/Editor for Golf Channel’s HUB division, which serves as an internal video resource for the network. Her new duties will include producing and editing Golf Channel video content for use online and for other digital platforms. Previously, Ruhe worked at ESPN as a Content Editor for such shows as SportsCenter, NFL Live, NASCAR Now and a variety of other daily shows and on-air promotions.
Andre Veenhuis joined as Broadcast IT Systems Engineer, responsible for the technical operation, evaluation and maintenance of all Golf Channel Internet technology-based platforms. Veenhuis most recently was employed with ESPN Regional Television.
Bryan Harden joined as Senior Producer, Creative Services, responsible for facilitating PGA TOUR-related and top-level promotional campaigns for air. Harden was previously employed by the NBA’s New Orleans Hornets as director of video production, providing video production support for the NBA franchise, including marketing spots, LED graphics and website features.
